FAQ

Here, you will find answers to many common questions that customers ask. If you have other questions about a particular vintage item, or about interior design services, please contact us by email or phone.

Do your photos show all imperfections in the vintage pieces?

Vintage items are aged which is part of their beauty.  Flint and Bailey reviews all products for any imperfections such as chips, cracks, noticeable scratches, or stains.  Any flaws will be noted in photos and item descriptions. Please feel free to reach out to F&B should you have any questions or would like additional pictures.

 

Do you ship internationally? 

We do not currently ship internationally.

 

Which service do you use for shipping?

We primarily ship with UPS and FedEx. For larger items, we work with several white glove delivery companies that we stand behind

 

How soon will I get my order? 

With few exceptions, items will be prepared for delivery within 48 hours. It is best to assume 7–10 days for full delivery, with the exception of special-order items or merchandise being shipped directly from the manufacturer.

How will I know when my order has shipped? 

You will receive an order confirmation with a tracking number as soon as the order is prepared for shipping.

Do you offer express shipping? 

We do offer express shipping.  Please contact us by email to arrange for express shipping.

Oversized item shipping? 

Some shipments are a little more complicated than others depending on the age and condition of the piece. F&B will work with one of the many white glove delivery services we use and provide you with quotes for packing, handling and shipping at a modest price.

 

What if I’ve received a damaged item? 

If your items arrive to you damaged, please take a picture of the shipping box and the damaged item and contact us by email to initiate a refund or exchange. Why is a picture of the shipping box needed? The shipping company requires it to file a claim with the should it be their fault.

What if an item is on back-order? 

Occasionally, an item will be out of stock. We’ll notify you immediately and if you decide you’d like to proceed with the order, we’ll fulfill it as soon as possible. If not, we’re happy to provide a refund. 

 

Can I cancel my order? 

Yes, if the order has not shipped contact us by email or call 703.597.2100 to cancel the order.  If the order has shipped, then you will need to return it once you have received the item/items.

What is your privacy policy?  

We do not sell or distribute any personal information you provide us.  You can view our privacy policy here.

Is my credit card information protected?  

Absolutely. All transactions are secure and encrypted and we don't store any of your payment information.

 

What payment methods do you accept? 

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and Apple Pay.  

 

I create a product that I think you may like.  How do I submit it for consideration? 

We are always in search of new product ideas! If you have something you think would be a good fit, then please contact us by email.
